Plastic free hotels - brochure and study

In collaboration with Wikinger Reisen, the Institute of Waste Management at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, and the Austrian Consumer Association, WWF has identified the most important measures that hotels can take to rapidly reduce their plastic waste.

Here is also the latest WWF Study "Effective measures to avoid single-use plastics and packaging in hotels". The study identified the top ten measures for hotels, gives recommendations for hotels, tourists and tour operators and includes analysis of the waste management in Mediterranean tourism destinations like Mallorca and Zakynthos. Study is available in English and German: wwf.de/stop-plastics-in-hotels.
